We advise people to arrive before the doors open at 10:00 to give you time to avoid traffic, park and make your way to the entrance. The venue will be open from 08.00, where you can purchase refreshments and use the toilets, however the event will not open until 10.00. Also please note that if you are not at the theatre for a talk you have booked by the advertised start time, you may not be permitted entry to this talk.
Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

Amplify is for musicians to learn from and be inspired by others already within the music industry, so performing live is not a key feature of the show. There are however bandstands within the show which will feature some live performances, and the line-ups for these will be decided by the BBC Music Introducing hosts Amplify team, and our show partners Sentric Music. Yes. The Undercroft car park (situated underneath the venue, with direct access to the venue’s concourse) is open 24 hours, and costs £20 for up to 24 hours. For more information and to book parking visit the Excel website
There are two Note ATMs near the west entrance of the venue by Costa and Panini Pronto, and another Note ATM in the centre of the boulevard between entrances S6 and N6. There are a Barclays and a Note ATM located on level 0 between N4 and S4. Should the in-venue ATMs run out of cash, there is also an ATM nearby at the Tesco Express. Additionally, there is a Travelex ATM by the S11 entrance on the boulevard.
There is an accessible changing facility at the east of the venue on level 1. Please ask the Excel customer service desk if you need to use the facilities. There are also baby changing facilities on level 0 in both the male and female toilets. All the female toilets are accessible from the boulevard as are the male toilets between N5/ N6 and N7/N8 and the red block between S9 / S10, and N10/ N11, the Prince Regent DLR east corridor and East Level 0.

In the unlikely situation the whole event is cancelled (as a result of events outside of the control of the Promoter, SME London Ltd.) the event website will be updated and all visitors will be notified via email. A full event ticket refund will be issued.
If the only day of the event to be cancelled is the one for which you have purchased a ticket, where possible you will be given the option to attend on an alternative day, otherwise you will be issued a full refund.
There are two WiFi options within the venue: ExCeL FREE or ExCeL Free fast. You can log in using your social media accounts or by directly by filling in your details.

Yes, The Jubilee Line and the DLR are the quickest routes to ExCeL London. Alight at Canning Town on the Jubilee Line and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR train for the quick journey to ExCeL: Prince Regent for the east entrance.
*Please note that you can only access Prince Regent station between February and December 2017, as Custom House DLR station will be closed for redevelopment in preparation for the new Elizabeth Line opening in 2018.
Excel London has seven on-site hotels, ranging from budget to luxury, offering 1,600 rooms between them. You’ll also find a further 10,000 rooms within 20 minutes of the venue. For more information please visit the Excel London website.
The show map will be posted on the event website in the coming months as well as made available to you when you arrive at the show. This will be in the form of a show planner, which is included within your ticket.
The Industry Sessions will each be repeated each day of the event, however each session will have varying speakers due to availability. The Journey Theatre in association with AWAL programme does differ each day. Yes, The prayer room can be accessed through the grey door next to the S9 entrance on the boulevard.
There are two cloakrooms which are open within the venue. One cloakroom is in the west end of the venue on level 0 by N4/S4 and one in the east end on level 0.
The fee is £1 per item for coats and luggage - please be aware we cannot store cameras, laptop equipment or any other electronic devices.
We offer a free ticket for a personal assistant accompanying a ticket holder with access requirements.
You will need to contact the Ticket Factory Box Office within 48 hours following your purchase to have the personal assistant ticket added to your order. Your personal assistant ticket will be sent to you as per your order preference, either as a print at home ticket or sent in the post. (NB: The Box Office may ask to see an accessibility pass when tickets are redeemed onsite).

The key features will have specific sessions that will be signed in British Sign Language (BSL) each day. The venue has a number of disabled parking bays that are spread across the car park. Zone 2 has 11 bays, Zone 3 has 15 bays, Zone 3 has 4 bays, Zone 8 has 12 bays, Zone 9 has 17 bays, Zone 13 has 6 bays, zone 14 has 16 bays, Zone 15 has 16 bays, East car park has 21 bays, Royal Victoria Multi-storey 1A has 10 bays, 2A has 14 bays.
The disabled bays are 5.90m x 3.60m
Any vehicle displaying the disabled blue badge is still required to pay the car park charge.
There are two information desks — one by the entrance in the west and one by the entrance in the east on level 1. Please note it is possible to hire a wheelchair from both of these info desks, free of charge.

If you purchased a ticket, your ticket includes:
Sessions are available on a first come first served basis at the show, and subject to availability.
Details for each session will be available on the signs and listings dotted around the show, or a full list is available at the info points. The majority of sessions will be approximately 45 minutes.
Yes, each additional session is first come, first served on the day.
Please contact the Ticket Factory who will be able to organise replacement tickets to be picked up from the onsite box office. Photo identification will be required. There will be no additional charge for replacement tickets.
Yes. However, if the person you are giving the tickets to is picking them up at the event, we require a letter of authorisation from the cardholder and the name of third party collecting the tickets.
When purchasing your tickets you have the option to have ‘print at home’ tickets or receive your tickets via standard post to the address you provide at time of booking. Tickets will be dispatched following your booking.
Please contact the Ticket Factory if your tickets do not arrive and it is less than 5 days before the event. Please quote the unique transaction number supplied to you at the time of booking. This will also be found on your email confirmation. There will be no additional charge for replacement tickets.
