Phil Christie was named President of Warner Bros. Records UK in 2016. He is responsible for the creative and strategic direction of the celebrated label, whose roster boasts an array of global superstar acts and influential artists such as Muse, Biffy Clyro, Foals, Royal Blood, Dua Lipa, Liam Gallagher, Linkin Park, Michael Bublé, Jason Derulo and Green Day.

Christie has discovered and developed British artists such as Royal Blood, who have enjoyed back to back number one albums and Dua Lipa, the biggest female breakthrough artist of 2017. He’s also led the comeback of rock icon Liam Gallagher. 
 
Christie had previously held the role of Head of A&R at WB since 2014. He joined Warner Bros. Records from Warner/Chappell where his signings included London Grammar, Michael Kiwanuka, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Lianne La Havas, Ben Howard, Tom Odell and Royal Blood.
 
Christie started his career in Radio promotions at Lucid PR. He moved into A&R in 2006 at Charisma Records before joining Virgin Records in 2008. In 2010 Christie was made Senior A&R Manager at Warner/Chappell UK, where he held this position for four years.
