David Emery is the VP Global Marketing Strategy for Kobalt Music Recordings, overseeing the marketing strategy for a range of artists including Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Ray BLK, Pet Shop Boys, Tom Misch, Lauv, Laura Marling, The Strokes and more.
Previous to that he was the Head of Marketing for Beggars Group Records, where amongst other things he worked on the marketing campaigns for artists like Adele, Radiohead, The xx, The National, Bon Iver, The Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, Sonic Youth and The White Stripes.
